The first place to start your journey is to read the product descriptions, bullet points and most importantly, specifications. In this content, you will find the quality of the product carefully described. For example, almost all of our Ready-to-Assemble furniture is made from solid wood - not MDF or Particle Board - some are made from Pine, some from Rubberwood, and some from Acacia or Mango. Each type of wood has a different density and look.
When buying a chair or sofa, you have to be sure you know what quality you are purchasing. You can look online and find 10 chairs that look the same but have wildly varying prices. Often that is due to “what is under the hood”. At Simpli Home, we believe in making great furniture that will delight and excite our customers. As a result, we make our seating using top grade plywood and solid woods for our frame. We add webbing and zigzag spring for our seating support structure, high density foam, pocket coil and double thick batting for our seat cushions, and use high quality fabrics. We could save 30, 40 or 50% of our cost by using inferior materials and structure (as many of our competitors do) and get you similar looking furniture. But then what you would receive would be inferior and disappointing.
IMAGES & VIDEOS
Any reputable retailer of furniture will add lots of detail images and videos of their products. At Simpli Home, we try to make you comfortable in your purchase by taking lots and lots of images so that you can see what you are getting. We also shoot videos for almost every one of our products to show the comfort, the functionality, the sizing and the styling of our products when they are interacting with people. To be sure that you are getting what you want, also make sure that you have correctly color balanced your screen so that it accurately reflects the color of the furniture that you are purchasing. It is always important to know your space and have a clear idea of what will fit where. Model your room, and lay out the furniture pieces in a sketch. This will give you a clear idea of the size of all the furniture that you will require and where things will go. Then when you go online, make careful note of the width, height and depth of all the furniture pieces and make sure they will fit properly in your space. All of our products have dimension drawings to help you with your purchase. When buying larger pieces, make sure that the furniture will make it up your stairs or through your doorways.
